The Small Things Matter
Whilst many people become distracted by the damage caused by larger issues, they tend to forget the smaller things. We are talking about the twigs, leaves, and smaller branches that may have been blown everywhere during the storm. Focus On The Plants
We can almost guarantee that your plants will take the brunt of the storm. They are not nearly as tough as your trees. This also means that one needs to act quickly and decisively when addressing the damage. First, we need to triage. Any plants which have had both their stems and leaves broken need to come out. There is just no hope for them. Those that only have leaf damage can however still be saved by simply removing damaged leaves. This applies to a wide variety of shrubs and plants.
